Terms of use

Version 2026-10-16. This version stays available at /terms/2026-10-16.

1. Who we are and what TaskLock is

TaskLock is a shared task board for teams whose members run their own AI coding agents. It is provided by Shalom Dov-Ber Kirsh, Wild Digital Moments, Streleweg 18a, Top 20, 6460 Imst, Austria ("we"; details in the Impressum).

2. Businesses only

TaskLock is offered only to businesses and professionals: people and organisations who use it for their trade, business or profession (Unternehmer within the meaning of § 1 Austrian Consumer Protection Act, KSchG). It is not offered to consumers.

When you sign up you confirm the statement "I use TaskLock for my business". You also confirm that you are of legal age and, if you sign up for an organisation, that you may act for it.

3. How the contract is made

  1. You fill in the sign-up form (name, email, password) and confirm that you use TaskLock for your business. Before you send it you can check and correct every field; the browser marks any field that is missing or invalid.
  2. By pressing "Create account" you offer to enter into this contract on these Terms.
  3. We confirm receipt by email with a confirmation link. The contract is made when you open that link. If you do not open it within 7 days, we delete the sign-up.
  4. We store the contract text: every version of these Terms stays available at /terms/<date>, and you can save or print this page at any time. Your own account details are under Account.
  5. The contract language is English. The legal pages are in English; any translation is for convenience and the English text governs.
  6. We have not signed up to any code of conduct.

4. Plans

  • Free: 1 project and up to 3 people per workspace (owner included). A person may own up to 3 workspaces. The free plan costs nothing.
  • Tester: no limits, free, given by us to early testers.
  • Paid: per seat. Not on sale yet; nothing is charged today. Before any paid plan starts, we will show its full price, billing period and cancellation terms, and you will order it with a separate, clearly labelled button.

We may change the free plan's limits with 30 days' notice by email.

5. Your account and your workspace

  • Keep your password, agent tokens and API keys secret. You are responsible for what is done with them. Revoke a token you no longer trust.
  • The workspace owner decides who joins and what is stored. Personal data in a workspace is processed on the owner's behalf under our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms for every workspace owner.
  • If you do not sign in for 12 months, we email you a warning and then delete the account (details in the Privacy notice, section 7).
  • TaskLock is in beta: it can change and there is no guaranteed availability (no SLA). Keep your own copies of what matters.

6. Content rules and moderation

This section describes the restrictions we place on what you store in TaskLock and how we enforce them (Art. 14 EU Digital Services Act).

Not allowed:

  • Content that is illegal under EU or Austrian law, or in the country where it is used.
  • Other people's passwords, API keys, tokens or other credentials.
  • Personal data of people who have not been told about it, and special categories of personal data (health, religion and the like) unless the law allows it.
  • Using invites or any other feature to send spam or unsolicited advertising.
  • Attacking, probing, overloading or reverse-engineering the service or other users' workspaces; getting around plan limits with fake accounts.

How we moderate:

  • We do not scan or read workspace content automatically and use no algorithmic moderation. A person (the operator, Beri Kirsh) looks at content only after a report, a complaint, a legal order, or a clear sign of abuse in technical data (for example a burst of invite mails).
  • Reporting illegal content: anyone can report content they consider illegal, through the form at Report content or by email to studio@wilddigitalmoments.com. Please give the reason, the exact place (workspace, task or URL), your name and email, and a statement that you report in good faith. We confirm receipt and tell you our decision.
  • What we can do, from mildest to strongest: ask the workspace owner to fix it; remove a specific item; suspend a workspace; close an account or workspace. We choose the mildest measure that solves the problem, decide case by case, and weigh the rights of everyone involved.
  • Statement of reasons: if we remove content or suspend or close a workspace or account, we email the affected account or workspace owner a statement of reasons. It says what we did and for how long, the facts, whether it followed a report, the legal ground or the clause of these Terms we relied on, that no automated means were used, and how to challenge the decision.
  • Complaints: reply to that email or write to studio@wilddigitalmoments.com within 6 months. As a one-person business we cannot always hand the review to someone else, so we review the case again from scratch and answer with reasons. You can also go to court.
  • Contact point (Art. 11 and 12 DSA): studio@wilddigitalmoments.com, or by post to the address in the Impressum. Languages: German, English, Hebrew.

7. Leaving TaskLock and taking your data

  • You can delete your account at any time under Account, and an owner can delete a workspace under Settings. You can also end the contract by email.
  • Export: on request we send the workspace owner all workspace data (projects, teams, members, tasks with specs, notes, branches, commits and pull request links) as a JSON file, free of charge, within 30 days. Data that belongs to the internal working of the service (password and token hashes, rate-limit counters) is not exported.
  • After the contract ends, the owner can still ask for the export for 30 days. After that we delete all workspace data; backups are gone 14 days later.
  • We charge no switching or exit fees.
  • If you move to another provider, we answer your questions about the data format and help with the move within reason.

8. Ending by us

  • We may suspend or close a workspace or account that breaks these Terms (see section 6, always with a statement of reasons).
  • We may end the free plan with at least 30 days' notice by email. You keep the export right from section 7.
  • If we discontinue TaskLock, we tell every account holder by email at least 30 days before the service stops. You can ask for your export until the deletion. All accounts and all data are deleted no later than 60 days after that email, and backups 14 days after that.

9. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law requires. For slight negligence we are not liable, except for breach of an essential contractual duty; then only for typical, foreseeable damage. We are not liable for lost data that a reasonable backup on your side would have prevented.

10. Changes to these Terms

We tell workspace owners about significant changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree you can end the contract before then. Each version stays available at /terms/<date>.

11. Law and courts

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction is the competent court for Imst, Austria.
